ABOUT ME
Hey everyone! My name is Johanna. I was born in November 1998 and live in Berlin, Germany. My two big passions are teaching and travelling. I speak German (native), English (C1) and Spanish (B1).

How it all started and my guiding teaching values
“Johanna, do you want to become a teacher?”
I was asked that for the first time at just 10 years old. My love for standing in front of the class only grew, and by 15 I was teaching first graders English, German, and PE, while also tutoring. Seeing a student’s eyes light up when something finally clicks is the best feeling in the world, and their pride in their progress continues to inspire me.
Although I later studied tourism and event management, I continued tutoring. During a six-month internship at a language school in Malta, I worked at reception by day and helped students with their homework by night. After graduating, I knew teaching was my true calling. I earned TEFL and DLL Standard certificates while teaching German in Spain, an experience that reinforced my passion for language education and showed me I wanted to do nothing else for the rest of my life.
Now, I’m following that passion full-time and running my own business, helping students learn languages in a personal, immersive, and enjoyable way.
